As a Volunteer Community Organization, the Adamstown Fire Company No. 1 is always seeking new members. We have numerous positions  that people can take part in to assist as a member of the department.

Some of theses positions are:

    We will provide all of the training and equipment that you will need, so why wait? The heritage of the Fire Service, in the State of Pennsylvania has long been that we have the Highest number of Volunteers in the U.S.  This number has rapidly decreased over the past several years and continues to do so annually.  So take part in your local community as a member of the Adamstown Fire Company, and continue the long lasting tradition, all while helping your neighbors and friends.

1. Stop by the Fire Station to get an application package.

2. Complete the application and return it to the station.

3. Set up a time to be Interviewed by the Fire Chief.

4. Attend a Business Meeting (Held on 2nd Monday of Every Month @ 19:00hrs)
